Beginning as an experiment in 2000, the Petworth Society Book Sales have become, for many, a central offering of the Society. They attract a large, regular clientele to the Leconfield Hall. The book sales will take place quarterly, on the second Saturday of every month. More than mere sales, they bring together both local people and others from further away. The proceeds go towards producing The Petworth Society Magazine.
